We've got the ring. Check. We've got the wedding date. Check. Now, where is the day of merriment going to take place. Without a doubt, both Benji and I knew we wanted to have it at First Baptist in Cleveland. That was the reason we exchanged numbers, and it was our "unofficial" first date. We definitely wanted to start our marriage in the place that we began our friendship and relationship. Attending this church for the first two years of our relationship grew us in so many ways. I knew it just felt right sitting next to Benji in our pew at church- even though it was usually the back one- it just felt right every time. This church means the world to us, and we want that magic from the "first date" to "to Mr. and Mrs. Campbell" to be felt.
Even though this church means the world, early on in this engagement I have completely wanted to just elope. Mountain wedding. Close friends and family. No hassle. Perfect. However, Benji wants the big wedding! Can you believe it. Isn't the girl suppose to want that? He wants all his friends and family there, and his big request is for me to walk down a center isle. If he wants the big wedding, I will give it to him.. maybe our 10 year anniversary we can do a renewal of vows in the mountains. So we've got the church. Check. Now, the reception.
